" This biographical reference book depicts that of 175 famous Jews from the areas of science, art, literature and politics of the last century. The focus of the selection is clearly in German-speaking countries, including some women who were taken into account. The scope of the biographies varies from a few lines to extensive multi-page designs. The aim of the book was to work on the presentation of the outstanding influence of Jews in science and art on a political equality with the Christian citizens.
