About This Item

Seattle and London: University of Washington Press, 1965. First Edition. Cloth . Very Good/Very Good. Octavo in mildly edgeworn dust jacket. Pine green cloth covered boards with silver lettering spine edge. Nice map of Dublin end pages. Binding solid, tight at bottom and a bit pulled at top. Bottom spine edge is slightly bruised. No markings in text. Unusual association copy. This copy of Joyce-Again's Wake belonged to Hilary Koprowski (1916 -2013), the inventor of the world's first effective polio vaccine. The book has his personal blind stamp imprinted on the front free end page. It is from his persoal library previously located in Wynnewood Pennsylvania. Laid in there is a card from Southworth Rare Books (Fredericksburg, VA) from where I purchased this copy.
