About This Item
London: Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1969. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Dust Jacket Included. London, Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1969. Octavo, xviii, 254 pages with numerous illustrations (from line drawings by Rosemary Aldridge) plus 8 plates from photographs. Cloth; foot of the spine very slightly bumped; slight production flaw to the faintly tanned endpapers; tiny crease and closed tear to pages 49-50; an excellent copy with the dustwrapper rubbed and slightly marked. 'This is the author's second journal and a sequel to his 'Teachings of Gurdjieff'. C.S. Nott relates events in his life from 1927 to 1949, both in Europe and America, telling of meetings with Gurdjieff in France, his friendship with A.R. Orage in England, and his contact with P.D. Ouspensky in England and, during the war, in America' (from the blurb).
