In near fine condition, bound in wine cloth and teal board. Handsome gold gilt lettering across front board and spine. Just a breath of rubbing at spine end, very minor. Author inscription across front free end paper, in black ink "To Gene Crimson". Book is tightly bound with clean and crisp pages throughout. Sharp corners. Near fine dust jacket is protected by archival cover. Dust jacket without flaws save minor wrinkling at both head and end of spine. Otherwise crisp and clean jacket with clear black and white photograph of author on rear wrapper. Front and rear flaps in flawless condition with price intact. A polished copy containing an ambitious survey of economic history by well respected economist John Kenneth Galbraith.
