About This Item
United Kingdom: Glue Pot Books, 2019. Fine. First Edition, First Printing. Paperback. PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY AUTHOR, CATHERINE ROBINSON, on title-page. Inscription reads, 'for -----/with all my love/Catherine'. 38pp. Illustrated with thirteen full-page colour etchings. Catherine Robinson's T'ai Chi master, Pytt (Gerda Geddes), researched the significance of the ancient symbolism, and from this work she developed her own personal interpretation, representing an allegorical journey through life. Inspired by what she learnt from Pytt, Catherine wrote this story of Everywoman's mythical journey from childhood to death and beyond, and then created a suite of etchings to accompany her story. The thirteen archetypal images reproduced here vividly bring the tale to life while leaving room for individual interpretations beyond the words, and resonating with the personal life experience of the reader. A fine copy of a SCARCE first edition, first printing SIGNED BY AUTHOR, CATHERINE ROBINSON. Presentation Copy Inscribed & Signed. First Edition, First Printing. Paperback. Fine.
