About This Item

The Champlain Society, 1911. Hardcover. Good. The Publications of the Champlain Society VI. Toronto. 1911. Limited to 550 copies of which this in number 245. Ex-Reference Library with three library stamps and several library marks. Top edge gilt. Deckle edges on fore-edge and tail. Sunning to spine. Hinges Tight. Light page toning as expected. As I was collating the book a small speck of dirt fell out (where it had probably set undisturbed for the last 100 years) which had resulted in a small round discoloration on about a dozen pages. The worst is shown in the photos. The discoloration gets progressively lighter on either side of photo shown until it eventually disappears. Balance of Text is Very Clean. No writing or tears to text noted. Very minor shelf wear to cover. Book has been collated and all plates and maps present. All in excellent condition.
