New York: Harper & Row, 1968. First Edition. Pictorial Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. Emily McCully. Hardcover/ DJ (has price $4.50); VG/ Good condition. Possible First Edition, c. 1968- no note of further printings & DJ does NOT have book award label on it (does not appear to ever have had one). DJ is Good+ to VG; bright & glossy w/ light soil & edge wear (incl. fray & 3/4 closed tear at top of spine panel), couple v. light flattened old partial wrinkles on front panel (minor- almost missed this). DJ still displays well. Book is VG+ to Fine; tight, bright, clean & square. Full color wrap-around pictorial board binding (replicates DJ art) unmarred- NO bumps, rubs, fray or sun. Text is tight, clean & unmarked; light soil to top edge of text block. NO hinge splits, owner names, notes, etc.; NOT book club or ex library. Very handsome, well preserved copy.
