Spine is rubbed at top and at base; corners are gently bumped and rubbed and back cover is sunned in one small strip at top. Internally, end papers toned, internal pages lightly toned, and some fox spotting at edges of pages where maps are inserted. Important volume of the RGS journal including content such as Antarctica, Central Asia, New Guinea, the Arctic, New Zealand and Ernest Thompson Seton, including: Some Scientific Results of the Antarctic Expeditions, 1901- 1904, by J. W. Gregory; the Douglas Glacier and its Neighborhood by J. Mackintosh Bell, with map; Recent Explorations in British New Guinea, with map; A Canoe Trip in the Plains of the Caribou by Ernest Thompson Seton, with sketch map; Dr. Stein's Expedition in Central Asia; and Vicinity of Lake Te Anan and Milford Sound, New Zealand by P.
