FIRST EDITION 1940, DATED ON REVERSE OF TITLE PAGE (NO DUSTWRAPPER), small 4to, 250 x 190 mm, 10 x 7½ inches, cloth backed buff boards, large coloured plate on upper cover, 64 pages. 8 pretty colour plates and other black and white illustrations, all of a little girl and her collection of dolls and Teddies. Head and tail of spine and corners very slightly worn, a few very slight fingermarks, occasional slight foxing. VG+ copy of the FIRST EDITION, lacking dustwrapper. Undated copies are reprints.
