New York: Alfred A Knopf Inc, 1938. Clean and tight and square with sharp corners. Appears unread. Beautiful black boards with embossed titles on the fronts and gold lettering on the spines. No dust jackets. Yellow tint to the tiptops of the pages. Beautiful Borzoi endpapers. 6th Printing. Translated from the German by H.T. Lowe-Porter. Very little shelfwear. The slip case has just a little shelfwear with a very small worn spot at the lower back corner. Very nice set.. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good+ (Slip Case). 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Biblical Fiction.
