About This Item

Prague: Statni Nakladatelstvi Krasne Literatury, Hudby a Umeni, 1956. An impressive copy of the 1956 1st edition of this Josef Sudek monograph, with rich, breathtaking gravures thruout. Tight and Near Fine in its oatmeal cloth. And in a crisp, VG+ example of the printed, off-white dustjacket, with light creasing along the panel edges and just the slightest hint of faint chipping at the spine crown. Octavo, a major work by the great Czech photographer Josef Sudek (1896-1976).
