HARDCOVER, bound in the original half calf and marbled boards, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, extremities rubbed, split joint, firm. Some small stains, spots and dampmarks in places; one leaf loose. In good condition. ~ Published January 1st, 1829. As opposed to other editions, this edition contains plates only including 4 full-page plates. With works by renowned artists Allom, Hendesron, Austin, Pickering, Rogers, Wallis, Watkins, and numerous others. With a manuscript note in contemporary hand next to the view of Warwick Castle: "Burnt in Nov. 1871. The Pictures are saved." F-6
