Hardcover without dust jacket,, xv + 349 pages, frontispiece (with tissue guard) of Huss; forest green cloth covers with faded but legible gilt lettering to spine, top edge gilt, moderate shelf wear to cover edges, corners and spine ends, several pale faded old stains/soiling to covers (ink, cup rings), nasty small waterstain to bottom spine hinge at front cover corner with a tiny halfmoon-shaped pale faded stain visible in that corner of the bottom margins to about page 42 to lessening degree (no affect on text), partially erased personal identifiers on both front endpapers and half title page, scattered pale faded pencil underlinings and/or marks in margins of fewer than 50 pages (often just a short line or a word or two), similar markings in ink to first two pages of Preface, list of names in pencil on free back endpaper (idolators? co-conspirators? sewing club friends?), but tight in binding, otherwise gently used, not abused, otherwise clean and unmarked.
