Limited edition to 250 copies, of which This is no. 1 signed by publisher. Bookplate to paste down endpaper (John Baldock). Original pictorial boards, gilt titling to the spine and upper board, gilt top edges. Colored frontispiece and 19 plates (plates size: 110 x 150 mm) on brown paper, protected by tissue-guard with a printed quote from the text of the book. Deckle fore and bottom edges. Spine slightly sunned, soiling mostly on rear board, Spine ends wear. Internally clean and bright, only foxing on preliminary and final pages, occasionally inside. .
