Worn but sound copy in green pictorial cloth lettered in gilt and with a delightful undersea motif on the front cover in lighter green, gilt, silver gilt and brick red, 365 pages. Covers rubbed at the edges, lettering and cover illustration bright and clear, lending library bookplate on front pastedown with evidence of pocket removal on rear pastedown with no other ex-library evidence, sound binding, some faint foxing to illustrations, first few pages have far lower corner neatly clipped off (does not interfere with text), pages generally very clean with a couple of instances of old and faint transparent staining to margins.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
