Philadelphia: Penn Publishing Co., [1918]. Thick 4to. 388, [2] pp. Woodcut-engraved & decorated title page, historiated head-pieces, decorated tail-pieces, colour frontisp., 7 colour plates. Blue-ribbed cloth, gilt lettering on front cover & spine, colour plate by Schoonover mounted on front cover (minor rubbing, slight spotting, very minor soiling to lower front cover, minor wear to corners), still VG- copy. First edition of this splendidly illustrated version of the tragic tale of the girl who saved the throne of France for King Charles II.
