New York / Acron, Ohio / Chicago: The Saalfield Publishing Co., 1901. Designed by Charles Costello, 49 unnumbered pages (all pages intact). Rubbed along edges and sides of spine, boards lightly surface scratched, red stain on front lower inside corner, corners rubbed and bowed. Previous owner's inscription in pencil on title page: "Billy from Mother". Tears (.25 to 3 inch) on bottom edge of 18 pages - some mended with tape, piece missing from lower corner on one page. Pages lightly thumbed, illustrations clean and crisp. Overall, good.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No DJ. Illus. by Kennedy, Harry. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
