About This Item

London: Chatto and Windus, 1957. Hardcover. 291p., nice copy of this less-common title; see our "series" description below. Condition is excellent, with merely one turned corner-tip, and a tiny dent to tail rim, while its dust jacket is edgeworn with numerous small tears. Number 7 in the Collected Works series; small volumes (7.5x4.5 inches) hardbound in moss-green cloth boards spine-titled with transverse gilt line decoration, very pretty. The ugly dust jacket may be intentionally so, and is to be thrown (that's just our guess).
