Black and white frontispiece. Prize plate stuck to front free endpaper. Text-block top edge dyed blue. Pages are slightly tanned with minor foxing throughout. Heavier to pastedowns and endpapers. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surface. Light discolouration to boards and spine edges. Black marks to front board. Light sunning to spine with notable crushing to spine ends. Boards are bowed. Clipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Heavy foxing and staining to rear panel fixed with tape. Visible foxing to flaps and dust jacket reverse.
