This series won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1916 and went through many editions. Originally printed in France in 10 volumes, 1910-1912. 1. Volume 2: Jean-Christophe In Paris. The stories are the Market Place, Antoinette and the House. Book is solid tanned pages, no cracks, cover shows rubs but is clean overall. Top of casing gold, colored endpapers front and back 473 pages. 2. Volume 3: Jean-Christophe Journey's End. The stories are Love and Friendship, The Burning Bush and the New Dawn. Book is solid tanned pages, crack rear but appears solid, cover shows rubs but is clean overall. Top of casing gold, colored endpapers front and back 473 pages. 504 pages. These would great on the shelf as decorator item, and also a great read.
