Paris: M. Piazza - Editeur, 1919. One of one hundred (unnumbered) copies on Japan paper - "Il a ete tire de cet ouvrage cent exemplaires numerotes sur papier de Japon". Handsomely bound in contemporary marbled boards, gilt lettering at spine, top edge gilt. Near Fine, end papers evenly browned. Moorish poems, partly anonymous, written in Spain in the 10th century. Translated from the Arabic to French by Franz Toussaint, who is perhaps best known for his translation of the "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam" .. Limited Edition. Marbled Boards. Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Limited Edition.
