New York: Phaidon Publisher's Inc., 1954. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Large format hardcover, purple patterned cloth in publisher's dust-jacket. 140 pages. With a foreword and an introduction by the author. Illustrated with 93 images including 20 tipped in full color plates, printed at the Chiswick Press, London. A visual survey of the 200 year reign of the color print in Japan, from the seventeenth to the 19th centuries. No previous ownership marks. Mild wear to cloth at extremities and dust-jacket worn, with edge wear, toning and tape repairs on verso, though complete. Interior and all plates clean and unmarked. Very good in a near good dust-jacket. A large book, Priority and International order will require additional postage, calculated as close to actual cost as possible. .
