Preston, A Merchant In Riga Since 1905, Was Later U. S. Trade Commissioner In Russia 1917-1918 With A Secret Commission Regarding The Procurement Of Platinum, Which He Obtained Through Covert Activities With The A. E. F. And Smuggled Out Under Cover As U.
