Myer's was the director of the War Relocation Authority (WRA), Inside Story of Uprooted Americans reflects on Myer's authority and administration of the Japanese internment camps during World War II. Without any guidance or regulations to follow, Myer carried out his duties as director, but regretting his post within the first year of his leadership. Also drawing on official documents and other sources to supplement hisown recollections. Binding is tight, dust jacket and book both in very good condition. Inside Story of Uprooted Americans portrays the mistakes the American government made against their own citizens.
