Tokyo: Keigansha, 1919. First printing. Hardcover. Good + overall. Japan and its colonies are described in Japanese & English, as well as photographically, with each page having multiple images. The colonies include Korea [5pp], Manchuria [3pp], Okinawa and Formosa [11pp]. Thick oblong 8vo, [12], 33, 352pp. With 352 plates and 2 double page color maps, pictorial end papers. Original pictorial illustrated boards with brown buckram spine. Stitched binding, through the cloth. Deaccessed from a library, which has added the title and shelf number in white at the spine, a library bookplate and a small library stamp on p.1 and at the rear end paper. The final page of the book has a very delicate embossed red stamp of the author's name in both Japanese and English. The spine has split somewhat due to the heaviness of the book, but is holding together nicely. Internally in very good condition. OCLC: 43898569 records 2 copies.
