London: Smith, Elder & co, 1906. No edition stated (states "new edition" on the title page). 12mo (18cm by 12cm), viii, 468pp, 4pp adverts. Original green cloth, gilt titling to the spine, top edge gilt. Light rubbing of the binding, foxing to the preliminary pages and the edges of the text block, prize bookplate to the front free endpaper; overall, this book is in good plus condition. The author's name is rendered as "Currer Bell" on the title page, but as "C Bronte" on the spine.
