Dramatic love story from around 1900 about a Jutland farmer and a gentleman's daughter...that spans an entire age from the last half of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century. Sigurd Elkjær (1885-1968) was a Danish writer.... Most of his novels, both the historical and those that take place in his own time, unfold on the Horsens region. Neat clean text, but paper cover a little damaged along the spine.].
