About This Item

Patrick Stephens, Cambridge for Jaguar Cars Limited, 1980. Book. As New. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Published by Patrick Stephens, Cambridge for Jaguar Cars Limited, 1980 - the same year as the first edition, and presumably at the same time. 9 1/2" x 6 7/8", 249 pages, profusely illustrated in black and white, illustrated endpapers. Signed by the author on half-title, which rather than text, has only the Jaguar 'face' printed there-on. The Jaguar 'face' also appears as a publisher's colophon at the base of the spine on both boards and dw. The spine has the title and author in gilt; the upper board has the famous leaping jaguar in outline at the lower corner. Hb in dw, virtually as new. A nice variant first edition. .
