Good - Hardcover, No DJ. Scuffing and faded areas, corners bumped, med. fray. Tight binding. Light foxing throughout.
On Title page: London, J.M. Dent and Co. (red lettering) , then under that is: Boston: Little Brown MDCCCXCVI (1896) A Page before the title page reads: The Nobels of Captain Marryat, Edited by R. Brimley Johnson, Volume Fourth.
There are 3 etchings with the signature of D. Downing. They each have tissue covering. The top of the page edges are gold, the sides and bottom pages are uneven. 429 pages, last page says Printed by Turnbull and Spears, Edinburgh. 5-1/2x7-3/4. Owners name written in front dated 1911.
