Philadelphia: John Winston, 1914. Decorative Cloth. Near Fine. Charles Folkard. A very sharp copy of the 1914 1st thus, with the 12 gorgeous Charles Folkard tipped-in color illustrations. Folio, purple gilt pictorial cloth, light fading on edges and a few tiny marks on the endpapers, else Near Fine. The plates, on heavy stock, were printed on quality paper in London by Geo. Jones at the Sign of the Dolphin and each includes its original printed tissue-guard. A lavish, lovely picture book.
