Large volume of the story of the Jackdaw of Rheims with 12 beautiful tipped in colour illustrations by Charles Folkard plus many smaller B/w illustrations in the text. endpapers and first blank page are foxed and some very light foxing on a few other pages overall very bright and clean inside, illustrations tipped in onto brown card with protective pages over them, illustrations are not marked or creased.Inside is the remains of original red silk book mark with gold jackdaw on it, this is split down middle, worn at edges and is 8 1/2 inches long possibly been cut short at some time. Outer cloth covered boards are worn at edges and some staining. Still a sound pleasing copy of a beautifully illustrated book SEE IMAGE. DETAILED IMAGES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST..
