All edges gilt. 32 pp. Color frontispiece, sepia title engraving, and eight other B/W illustrations throughout, as well as drop caps and page border of vines. Reading copy only. Boards damp warped, with paper delaminating and rippling. Gilt quite faded, and boards rubbed. Quite edgeworn, with corners particularly erose. Spine paper lacking. Eraser marks and light pencil to front free endpaper, and second front endpaper appears lacking. Front hinge and spine cracked, and signatures loose. Dampstaining to top and spine throughout.
