About This Item
Rand Daily Mail, Johannesburg, 1950. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. The blue cloth cover has a cartoon illustration that is still evocative. The book has been poorly stored and there is slight discolouration to the rims. There are very general handling marks. The spine has been damaged at the foot by a burn: the cover is wounded through to the binding beneath. The head of the spine has discolouration and pull depressions. There is a gift inscription (not from the author) on the frontispage. Pages 91 - 93 have paper cutting tear marks. Otherwise, this obviously much read book is in general good, readable condition. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
