This antique hardcover novel has a light brown cloth cover with lovely dark brown floral panel design and gilt lettering on front, brown spine lettering. Inner pages are clean and bright, binding tight. No date of publication; presumed pre-1900. Black-and-white frontispiece illustration. Tells the story of a young boy who answers an advertisment for a page-boy and becomes entangled with a group of burglars. The fourth of a series of nine Every Boy's Library books. 86 pages; approx. 5"x7".Book is in good condition with darkened spine, wear and light soil.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Yes.
