About This Item
1936. FRASCHETTI, Vincenzo and Carlo TESTI. Italia dall'A alla Z. [88] pp., illustrated throughout. Small 4to, 250 x 230 mm., bound in publisher's illustrated boards, in a new red cloth folding box. Novarra: Officine dell'Istituto Geografico de Agostini, 1936. A stunning example of fascist book design. Published by the Italian Foreign Ministry, this alphabet was presumably issued as propaganda for children of diplomats and foreign service employees to demonstrate Italy's superiority. Slight rubbing to the edges of the boards, but overall a fine copy. A book that is of great rarity with OCLC listing only copies at Princeton and Northwestern.
