A volume in Batsford's 'The Face of Britain' series in a lovely Brian Cook designed dustwrapper.
Hardback – publisher's pale blue cloth with gilt title to spine and tinted blue to top edge of page-block, in a dustwrapper priced 15 shillings net. 194pp including b/w plates and colour frontispiece. Size: 8.75 x 5.75 inches approx. (222mm x 146mm).
Dustwrapper lightly worn and rubbed to extremities and folds; a short closed tear (5mm) with creasing to tail of spine. Cloth clean and bright; lightly rubbed to extremities. Pages clean throughout.
Overall, a particularly well preserved copy in nice, clean conditon – quite lovely.
