Hardcover. 8vo size, x,277pp plus publisher's catalogue, original cloth boards, title gilt on spine and one upper cover with attractive gilt illustration, slight wear to extremities, spine quite cocked (slanted), colour pattern to end papers (slightly 'dusty' and with some spots and marks), small private ex libris device on front paste down, frontis with tissue guard and 26 additional illustrations and one tinted map, front hinge just slightly cracked, text clean, overall good
