About This Item

London: Macmillan, 1944. A first edition, first printing published by Macmillan in 1944. A near fine book without inscriptions and no browning to the spine whatsoever. In a very good dust wrapper (showing 7\6d NET - as called for) with chipping to the head of the spine. Some fading to the spine titles and a little light chipping to the corners, with some associated creasing. SIGNED by way of an official Enid Blyton bookplate to the front endpaper. Rare in the unrestored dust wrapper. The first 'Adventure' novel.
