About This Item

New York: Bonanza Books. Very Good. [c.1960s-70s]. Hardcover. A reprint edition of a work first published in 1941. With 97 plates bearing black & white drawings of these power units. --- In dark red paper-covered boards backed in gold cloth, with dark red spine titling. Possibly published c.1960s-1970s. Jacket with color painting of one of these locomotives. --- An old style Bro-Dart jacket protector was used on this book, leaving slight traces of adhesive to cover edges; otherwise a clean, tightly-bound copy but with a speck of soiling to textblock lower edge. Unclipped dust jacket with crossed-through flap price, slight rippling due to exposure to moisture, else bright, intact and wrapped in new removable archival mylar protector.; Small Quarto - 9 to 11 in. tall; 239 pages .
