Serafimovich's best-known work, a novel of the Russian Revolution based on the real-life exploits of E.I. Kovtiukh and the Taman Army. Considered a classic of early Soviet literature, Iron Flood was reissued in a variety of formats in English throughout the 40s and 50s; the first edition is somewhat scarce.
