Technical manual prepared by the Central Radio Propagation Laboratory of the National Bureau of Standards, ‘in order to meet the need for an elementary presentation of the theory and practical use of radio-wave propagation involving the ionosphere.’ Profusely illustrated with graphs and mathematical formulae. Very Good, small chip of the paper covering on the lower spine extremity with associated closed tear. Notable radio engineer Burton Miller’s copy, with his signature on the upper rt. corner of the front wrap. In printed blue wraps, with light tanning of the margins.
