Weidenfeld and Nicolson 2004 (1st UK) 0. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine. First edition, first impression. Large book with many colour photos. Signed, "To Allan, Nick Mason'. Allan Thompson was a book dealer and musician who sent Nick Mason a typed poem/lyrics called 'The Ballad of Syd Barrett'. He presented this to Mason and wrote on the back "Many thanks for 37 years of uneasy listening. (Allan to Nick, 2004)". The poem is laid in the book. In return Mason presented him with this book. A substantial and comprehensive chronicle of the history and development of the great rock band, Pink Floyd (David Gilmore, Nick Mason, Roger Waters, and, for a time, Syd Barrett), recounted by founding member and drummer, Nick Mason. Fine in a Fine d/w.
