The Kairyu-Do Press, 1930. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Slight creases, rubbing and browning to wrappers; small chip to the bottom of the spine, else a Very Good copy internally clean, with a tight spine. 144pp. Later issue of the English-language reprinting of 10 short stories and sketches in all, with the compiler's footnotes (and a few bibliographical references). See BAL #8009: citing the original edition, with 1928 imprint (actually issued in January of 1929); their entry based on a 1931 reprinting. A rare pre-war Japanese imprint in any case, in fairly good and tight internal conditionFew b/w Decorations (including Title page).
