Virginia: The Near Eastern Art Research Center and James Mark Keshishian, 1994. 256pp/illus/end-paper map. The author describes and analyzes his own collection of inscribed Armenian rugs, published as a part of his 30 year quest to show the world his favorite rugs. It is mostly filled with colored plate showing 19th century and early 20th century rugs with the inscriptions woven in. The author was also the founder of the Armenian Rugs society in Maryland in 1980. Beautifully illustrated, including several full page color plates. Clean. 1st Edition. Cloth. New/New. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
