March 15, 1830 and the preface to the first edition dated May22, 1829. The author explains the section on England has been entirely re-written after travels to these places. The second part has also been carefully revised but with few important alterations. p391-400 are an appendix with tables.This scarce volume suffers form a poorly made spine and often lacks pieces. This example has a fine clean and tight text block and a complete spine. all edges uncut with wide margins. 2nd Edition, Enlarged. Hardback. V.g.. large 8vo.
