London: Thomas and George Underwood, 1830. xl, 400pp. Bound in the original buff coloured boards and with paper label present [soiled]. Joints sound but cracked. Preface to the second edition. March 15, 1830 and the preface to the first edition dated May22, 1829. The author explains the section on England has been entirely re-written after travels to these places. The second part has also been carefully revised but with few important alterations. p391-400 are an appendix with tables.This scarce volume suffers form a poorly made spine and often lacks pieces. This example has a fine clean and tight text block and a complete spine. all edges uncut with wide margins. 2nd Edition, Enlarged. Hardback. V.g.. large 8vo.
