About This Item

New York: Oxford University Press, 1983. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. This book is interesting not only because it is probably one of the more authoritative books looking at income inequality in Malaysia in the 1970s, but also because it does so within the objectives of the New Economic Policy launched at the beginning of the decade. On the the eve of Malaysia's Third Economic Plan, the author assesses the progress of the policy and the likelihood of its reaching its objectives. 371 pages with several tables, a list of references and an index. Weight 0.9kg. Post free within Malaysia The book still looks remarkably fresh with minor dirt marks on the cover. The binding is tight, the text is clear and there is no tanning throughout.
