VG for age/No Jacket. 14.5 Cm x 22 Cm. viii+264, 2 pristine early pub. fliers slipped in; 1933-dated sig.top front endpaper and same person's ('Edgar Clayton') ex libris plate to front pastedown (a pile of books beside a candle) very faint criss-cross browning to front endpaper, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked. Dark cloth covers clean but faint surface rubbing to boards, esp.front, and spots of same to edges. Scarce early work on what became 'Industrial Psychology' veru shortly afterwards, focused explicitly on fatigue and efficiency in the factory workshop or mine, author disclaiming knowledge of 'scientific management' and vocational selection. Vernon is billed as an invetsigator with the Industrial Fatigue Health Board. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
