Subtitle: "A Century of Development under the United States."
Copyright 1949, published 1951 by The University of Oklahoma Press (Norman, Oklahoma). Stated "Second Printing, March, 1951" on the copyright page. Dust jacket has been price clipped and the other flaps are clipped as well. Jacket shows wear to include large chips and tears, creases and wrinkles (such as the hinges), sunfade (particularly the spine), tanning to the edges, spots, nicks, scuffs, and shelfwear. Hardcovers show wear such as spine lean, bumped corners and edges, bumped spine head and tail, nicks to the edges, and shelfwear. Aside from a previous owner's inscription on the front endpaper, there does not appear to be any writing in the text. Overall, this book is in Very Good minus (VG-) condition.
