From the Acknowledgement: "Mrs. Anna Ahrens of Batesville, Indiana, was using some of these designs well before the turn of the century. She was from a family of quilters who loved to quilt, and who quilted for pleasure as well as out of necessity."

This is a book of quilting designs and has fold-out patterns.

Very Good- condition. This book has a red plastic comb binding, the bottom piece of the comb is missing. Also, the top edge has a small soft crease that is throughout the book. Pages are clean.
