First Edition. iv, 221 pages, plus 6 page appendix; 12 tissue-protected tinted lithograph plates, including frontis, plus 2 wood engravings. The author's recounting of hunting trips for a variety of large and small game in India's Bombay Presidency with chapters on the pursuit of blackbuck, nilgai, cheetal, panther, sambur, and bison, plus sections on hunting lion in Kathiawar and on pig sticking in the region. Showing just light general wear, internally clean. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good. Quarto.
